About Barbara's Standard Poodles
My Story
We are a family-owned and operated breeder that has been in the business for over 10 years. My passion for standard poodles started when I got my first standard poodle. I fell in love with their loyal and friendly nature. Since then, I have been dedicated to breeding healthy and happy standard poodle puppies for families to enjoy. Also, some of my standard poodle puppies have gone on and become therapy dogs. I truly love this breed they are dear to my heart. My Tucker has gotten me thru some rough times in my life. He is no longer with me. But he still fills my heart. His line is still carried on for people t enjoy. What I had. Wiot is his great grandson. Zoey is his daughter. Friends have his offspring's. Many people enjoy his line. Many people have come and bought another one from me. I say welcome to my Poodle family. That is what you become when you get a family member from me. You become family!
MY Facilities
My facility is my home. The puppies start out in 1 room for the birthing. When they hit about 1 week old. Thier mom will start to let Zoey into babysit. While she goes outside. Zoey is the alpha female of the pack. Then at about 3 to 4 weeks, or when the puppies start to climb out of the birthing pool. They are moved to a big pen in the puppy room / grooming room. For a couple of days to adjust to a new room. Then they get the run of that room. Then mom starts to let the other females in to play with the puppies. All my females help each other raise the puppies. Of course I am there also. It is a joint effort. I think that is why I have such great puppies. Why people keep coming back to me to add a new member to their family. Most come back for at least a second puppy. Some for a 3rd or 4th puppy.
My Breeding Process
I take great pride in my breeding process, which starts with carefully selecting my breeding pairs. I only breed pairs that meet my high standards for health, temperament, and conformation. My standard poodle puppies are raised in a loving and nurturing environment and receive regular veterinary care and socialization. They are raised in my home. My whole pack helps raise each and every litter. I am hands on from the moment they are born. Until they leave my home. Some still come back for regular grooming. I enjoy seeing them grow up to become wonderful dogs and family members. Some I puppy sit. Which I love doing. These dogs are more than breeders they are family. Their puppies are family. To all who get one. They're welcomed into my poodle family.

Our whole pack helps to raise each and every litter. It is a joint effort. Between human's dogs raising my puppies. Zoey my white one she puppy sits when mom is not with them. Zoey is matriarch of the pack, and she takes her roll seriously
